First you need to know that Hashtags are an important part of the new Semantic Search!
I got inspired to write this short post about hashtags after I read a very good question posted on my friend +John Kellden Google Plus Community by +Grizwald Grim about the right use or strategy behind this little things. I first started using this meta categorization tools in Twitter, where according to social media history and Wikipedia was where they got use for first time in Twitter, but now you see them almost everywhere including Google+, Pinterest, Intagram and soon in Facebook.I seen many different ways of using them, but after a lot of testing, fails, more testing, and successes I develop my own way of applying this tools in my social marketing and SEO tactics.

Grizwald wanted to know how marketing professionals use hashtags. You can use them in many ways, and you can develop your own style after knowing the basics of it, but in simple words this tags were develop to group content about the same subject in a single web database.
+David Amerland who is an expert on Semantic Search, said this are great tools for opening conversations to co-creation, which can take a discussion or subject to a deeply level of understanding.

My Hashtag Marketing Tips And Philosophy
Here are a few of the ways I use this content segmentation tools which are excellent for Twitter and Google Plus marketing:1. Use them to categorized your content.
2. Use them to invite like minded individuals that might add interesting elements to the discussion.
3. Use them to amplified your reach.
4. Use them to point interesting areas that may also boost the path of the current conversation.
5. Use them to gain co-creation like +David Amerland said, think of them like an invitation to collaboration.
6. Use them carefully, avoid overload!
7. Use them to find information that is relevant to your, your business or your needs.
8. Just don't forget to use them, when you don't you are limiting the potential of such discussion.
